Dan MauerDan graduated with a Bachelor of Business Degree from Washburn University in 1991 and immediately gained attention after joining the Multiple Sclerosis Society as their Special Event Fundraising Coordinator. In his first year, he doubled the income of a campaign that was slated for the chopping block. Dan’s “big-bang with no-buck” style revived the agency’s fund raising efforts and helped provide more services to their clients. Moving from the nonprofit world, Dan joined the Secur-Ticket division of M-C Industries where he developed his advertising and marketing skills. Dan and his associates quickly took the “commodity” perception of tickets and wristbands, and elevated them to a full-service, admission control concept. As sales increased, Dan’s team caught the attention of their largest competitor and in 1997, Precision Dynamics Corporation acquired the division. Wanting to keep up that momentum, they put Dan and his associates at the head of the new corporation’s marketing department. Dan moved back into the nonprofit world as the Director of Communications and Public Policy for Kansas Family Partnership. This small statewide agency was doing big things, but wasn’t getting attention for their efforts. Dan was part of the team that developed and implemented a marketing strategy that put KFP on the radar screen of Kansas families, community leaders, legislators and more importantly... funders. Developing a powerful public awareness campaign, including website marketing, media relations and community-based networking can make a difference for any nonprofit. Expanding his horizons, Dan joined MB Piland, bringing his vast experience with helping businesses and nonprofits thrive. There, he had the opportunity to build marketing and advertising campaigns through the web, radio, television and print media. Klik Kreative was born from Dan's passion for out-of-the-box thinking and a unique approach to helping businesses grow. |
